Your parents brought you??? Lucky girl... With my parents the deal has always been that I had to make my own arangements to get home.
Now I'm old enough to drive, but with Millenium and before that I couldn't. I had to make other arangements.

my mother still drives me if necessary and i don't even live at home anymore

Well there was a kind of good reason for them to bring me..
I had a ticket to the show in Ahoy Rotterdam for about a half year and than my school said that we where going to Maastricht for a week to visit the university and other places there. And that was exactly in the week of the Ahoy concert. I was begging my parents to let me stay at home and do extra school work instead of going to maastricht but my dad said I had to go (the crying workt om my mom pretty wel but my dad doesnt really react to it too wel...altough he was super nice to me once we settled everything). And I was so ubset that my dad said 'well where ells are they comming?' and I told them they where comming to germany and belgium. So he orderd a ticket for Brussels for me (I did have to pay it myself) and I sold my ticket for Ahoy and lived happely ever after

It still all worked out for me though. Even if my own parents didn't want to bring me. They even didn't want me to go, because the first time I was only 15. I didn't understand it then, but now I do, 15 years is young.
Thanks to a couple of sweet people I could still go.

when i was 15 my parents also didn't let me go but i can understand that

They did allow me to go in the end. A mother of a friend of mine was bringin us and coming inside with a younger girl. So I did go when I was 15 for the first time.
